Modern Architecture Pop-Up Book

From the blog Science + Progress, I was reminded about this book which I'd meant to post about a while ago. Available October 7, The Modern Architecture Pop-Up Book, published by Rizzoli showcases three-dimensional replications of some of the most innovative modern and contemporary architecture from around the world. Ranging from the nineteenth century to the present day, the pages follow the development of modern architecture: the creation of new buildings and innovations that led to such feats as the Brooklyn Bridge; the birth of the skyscraper and the modern city; mid-century modernism, and the cutting-edge architecture of today.

Aside from the buildings themselves, I'll be poring over the pages wondering, "how'd they figure out this pop-up stuff, anyway?!" – GF
